I have an really exciting announcement to make: We are opening up our technology for external use (via cashback API offered as a loyalty SaaS)
Over the past 2.5 years, we’ve been building something I’m really proud of: CleverGiver — a platform that supports automatic donations of a part of every dollar spent online (across thousands of stores). And besides the option of donating the money, one may also keep it as cashback.
As we’ve been developing our platform, I couldn’t help but realize how the same concept (of getting money back from every online purchase) can be applied to other environments too. Specifically: to enhance what companies offer their customers and members. Be it a bank, a credit card issuer or a digital/mobile wallet, an insurance company or a nationwide gym chain, an employee perks and benefits provider, or any company that seeks to enhance customer/member loyalty, our SaaS solution can help.
In the financial space, some of the larger players already have programs where their customers get cashback on money spent online. Examples would include Go Far Rewards from Wells Fargo, a Shopping Portal within Chase’s Ultimate Rewards program, BankAmeriDeals® from Bank of America, Amex Offers from American Express, and a few others. Some of these are run on proprietary platforms, while others were made possible by acquiring respective technologies. Great examples of the latter would be Capital One’s acquisitions of Wikibuy in 2018 and Jewel Commerce in 2019.
But what options do others (including thousands of smaller players) have?
This is where, I believe, we could come in helping others enhance their client-facing value proposition (by adding a cashback element for their clients/customers to enjoy).
Therefore, effective immediately, we’re opening up our technology (via cashback APIs) for early adopters, are are also waiving all setup and maintenance fees. We want to structure this as true win-win partnerships, whereby we would make money only when you make money.
We want to offer our technology to support the following:

- API access to nearly 5,000 U.S. e-tailers
- Automated tracking of user activity
- Integration with your platform (for the cashback to be paid to the users)
- Integration with a wallet (if you have one)
- Optional donation element (also API-driven)
